Mr. Md. Mahmudul Hasan joined the Department of Information Science and Library Management at the Asian University of Bangladesh as a faculty member in February 2022. He is a Bangladeshi academic and researcher with a multidisciplinary educational background.
Mr. Hasan earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the University of Dhaka. He later completed an MSS and B.Ed. from the Asian University of Bangladesh. To further strengthen his interdisciplinary expertise, he obtained a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Applied Psychology from Western State University, California, USA, a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, and a Professional Certification in Applied Counselling from the Skill Development Council, Canada.
His research focuses on the intersection of education, libraries, and information management, with particular emphasis on advancing UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 4, 5, 16, and 17). Through his academic engagement, he seeks to disseminate knowledge, support evidence-based policymaking, and advance inclusive educational practices nationally and internationally.
